Our one day sailing excursions in the waters surrounding the Rock of Gibraltar are an ideal holiday ‘add–on’ for those already visiting Gibraltar or the Costa del Sol, or indeed anyone already living in the area as a special treat. For local businesses, it is also a great way to entertain your corporate clients or reward your staff with a fun filled day out.
The day begins when you are welcomed on board Pacific Star, our beautiful Beneteau 50.5, by your host and skipper in Marina Bay, Gibraltar. After familiarising yourself with the boat, we set sail into the sheltered waters of Gibraltar Bay for a morning of exhilarating sailing or total relaxation, which ever you prefer! Our guests are welcome to get involved with the actual sailing, under the close instruction of the skipper and crew, or just relax in the cockpit and just enjoy the scenery. The Straits of Gibraltar are teaming with wildlife and there is an excellent chance of encountering a pod of one of three species of dolphin. You may even be lucky enough to see pilot whales and sea turtles and of course numerous species of sea-bird.
We will anchor off the Spanish coast in Getares Bay or the La Linea anchorage for a delicious lunch freshly prepared by your crew and a cooling dip in the sea. Then more sailing and relaxing for the rest of the afternoon before heading back to our Marina berth as you watch the sun go down. |
